Reconstruction Superintendent

Volarify is seeking an experienced Reconstruction Superintendent/Construction Foreman to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing site activities, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality results.

• Manage onsite activities to ensure projects are executed on time, safely, on budget, and of the highest quality.
• Review daily/weekly requirements, document progress, and notify project managers.
• Order materials and arrange for delivery.
• Manage labor and material at the site and coordinate all necessary inspections and compliance events.
• Oversee daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction progress, and quality control.
• Ensure a clean worksite.
• Complete inspections.
• Supervise multiple crews simultaneously on multiple projects.
• Ensure that the punch list is fully executed.
• Require complete adherence to health and safety regulations on construction sites to avoid accidents and delays, and report any problems to the project manager as soon as possible.
• Submit a plan for homeowners that includes a cost estimate for the job.
• Recruit subcontractors and ensure they have all necessary permits.
• Confirm that every construction project produces a high-quality finished product, supervise construction workers, execute regular on-site inspections, and provide feedback as needed.
• Review subcontractor output concerning schedules and success targets to ensure that the project is on track to be completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards required.

• In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles.
• Superb organizational, leadership, time-management, and communication skills.
• Minimum 18 months of experience in construction, restoration, or renovations; 3-5 years is preferred.
• Capable of reading and understanding blueprints, specifications, and reports.
• Ability to participate in a rotational after-hours on-call schedule.
• Experience with Xactimate is a huge plus.
• Basic computer skills are needed.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multi-task.
• Must be self-disciplined to consistently handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
