Job Description

Akron Children's Hospital is seeking a Float Medical Professional to join our team. This part-time position offers an estimated salary of $83,000 - $114,000 per year.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing and be licensed as an RN in the State of Ohio. National Certification as a nurse practitioner by a nationally accredited organization is also required.

In this role, you will provide primary and/or specialty nursing and medical care in a variety of healthcare settings. You will function in collaboration with a physician according to a standard care arrangement and specialty board certification.

Main Tasks:

  1. Perform health assessments and physical exams.
  2. Identify significant health and medical risk factors.
  3. Develop treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams.
  4. Maintain accurate records and reports.
