Job Summary

The Logistics Delivery Professional at Sysco is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting products from the warehouse to various customers, ensuring compliance with delivery and food safety standards.

This role requires a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License and includes responsibilities such as unloading products, maintaining accurate paperwork, and developing good customer relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and place in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of delivered products and communicate effectively with customers regarding any issues or concerns.
  • Ensure all food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines, including proper temperatures maintained in the delivery vehicle and product inspected for visible damages prior to delivery.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree required; completion of a tractor trailer driving school accepted instead of or in addition to a high school diploma.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License required; must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment.
