Overview:
Bowhead is seeking an Operational Readiness Analyst to support its OPSCAP contract.


The Operational Readiness Analyst will assist in enhancing readiness reporting initiatives, which encompass: developing self-assessment checklists; pinpointing data extraction from authoritative sources; overseeing readiness metrics related to personnel, equipment, and training; and providing training on the Defense Readiness and Reporting System (DRRS).


Responsibilities:

  • Support readiness program initiatives, including Space Mission Force and Full Spectrum Readiness, along with directives from USSTRATCOM and USSPACECOM.
  • Revise and implement USSF readiness reporting for mission-critical tasks.
  • Disseminate mission directives.
  • Validate Designed Operation Capability (DOC) statements.
  • Deliver monthly assessments of the Mission Essential Task List (METL).
  • Enhance reporting processes for all USSF units.
  • Create, review, and facilitate coordination of documentation, including Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) Directives and Combatant Command (COCOM) requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with DRRS Resource Readiness and Capability Readiness reporting within USSF policy and guidance.
  • Update DOC Statements, METs, and HQ USSF Mission Directives annually or as necessary.
  • Develop, review, coordinate, and present readiness briefings for senior leadership.
  • Organize briefings, including Video Teleconference requests and attendance for senior leaders for regular readiness briefings.
  • Maintain information systems and programs supporting HHQ DRRS reporting and associated briefing development.
  • Provide requirements and recommendations to HAF for relevant information systems and programs.
  • Review updates to JCS, COCOM, and AF documentation for command post requirements to ensure integration into HQ USSF policy.
  • Assist in Command Post training through the development and coordination of training plans.
  • Migrate readiness programs to a responsive host organization utilizing available hardware and software.
  • Adhere to best practices for network and database security in accordance with relevant regulations.
  • Update existing databases or create new ones as needed.
  • Develop and maintain websites to support HAF Readiness reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree (3+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree)
  • 1-3 years of experience related to the primary responsibilities

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED:
Must possess a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level. US Citizenship is required for holding a Top Secret clearance.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to twist, bend, and squat periodically
