Job Summary

Toyota Alabama is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance operations, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

About the Role

In this role, you will work closely with our production team to identify and resolve equipment issues, perform routine maintenance tasks, and implement process improvements. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical and mechanical systems, as well as fabricating and machining components as needed.

Responsibilities

* Perform preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems * Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems * Fabricate and machine components as needed * Write, program, and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, and other electronic equipment * Perform basic administrative tasks, including documentation of work performed * Collaborate with production team to identify and resolve equipment issues and implement process improvements

Requirements

* Industrial maintenance and/or military experience * Electrical and mechanical knowledge * Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving * Technical knowledge and skills in PLC's, Computers & Information Technology, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Motion/Motor Control, Welding, Machining, Robotics * Ability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns
