Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Real Estate Financial Specialist with a strong background in accounting. This role is ideal for individuals who excel in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Real Estate Financial Specialist, your main duties will include:
1. Preparing monthly bank reconciliations, financial statements, and balance sheets for the property portfolio.
2. Accurately coding invoices and expense reports to the General Ledger (GL).
3. Timely billing of properties.
4. Efficiently managing payroll allocations.
5. Processing accounts payable.
6. Preparing Sales & Use Tax Returns.
7. Contributing to the annual budget process with insights and analysis to support strategic decisions.
8. Utilizing your expertise in MS Excel for effective data management and analysis.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should have:
1. At least 3 years of experience in Property Accounting or a related field.
2. Proven skills in preparing monthly bank reconciliations, financial statements, and balance sheets.
3. Experience in coding invoices and expense reports to the GL.
4. Familiarity with billing properties and payroll allocations.
5. Proficiency in accounts payable processing.
6. Experience in preparing Sales & Use Tax Returns.
7. Understanding of the annual budget process.
8. High proficiency in MS Excel.
9. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
