We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sanitation Operations Lead to join our team at The Father's Table. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for leading the sanitation team in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure the safety and legality of food production by implementing and maintaining effective sanitation procedures.
- Lead and motivate the sanitation team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure all areas and equipment are properly sanitized.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any sanitation issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Provide training and guidance to sanitation team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of sanitation activities, including cleaning schedules, chemical usage, and equipment maintenance.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce waste and improve sustainability in the sanitation department.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a sanitation or facilities management role.
- Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve high standards of cleanliness and efficiency.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures, including food safety and GMPs.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lift, carry, and handle heavy equipment and materials, as well as stand for long periods of time.
