Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) services on various types of forklifts, including gas, LPG, diesel, and electric models.
  • Conduct thorough safety inspections on forklifts to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Execute minor repairs and adjustments on equipment as necessary.
  • Follow the established PM completion schedule consistently.
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding any findings during PM services.
  • Utilize electronic devices to accurately complete work orders.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols while performing maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma, G.E.D., or completion of a technical program is preferred.
  • Experience in mechanical roles for six to twelve months is advantageous but not required.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude is essential for success in this position.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move loads up to 50 lbs.
  • Must possess personal hand tools necessary for the job.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in paperwork are required.
  • Must be able to pass a physical examination, drug screening, and background check.
