Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Financial Controller to oversee our accounting operations. This role is crucial in managing our financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

About Us:
We are a leading real estate development firm committed to enhancing the living and working environments in our communities. Our extensive portfolio includes a significant number of residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervise the accounting team and manage the monthly closing processes.
2. Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management.
3. Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
4. Prepare and review financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
5. Assist in the development of annual property budgets and forecasts.
6. Document financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
7. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the real estate or construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Yardi and advanced skills in MS Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA certification or public accounting experience.
- Experience in both commercial and multi-family real estate sectors.
- Familiarity with the implementation of financial reporting systems.
