About the Role

The Transportation Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers, while maintaining a high level of customer service and adhering to company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Operation
    • Maintain a safe environment by complying with all traffic regulations and adhering to the company's COVID-19 pandemic response plan.
    • Follow emergency procedures and enforce passenger safety/conduct rules.
    • Fuel vehicles as necessary.
  • Passenger Experience
    • Aid passengers as needed or as requested, and verify that all passengers are properly secured.
    • Regulate heating, cooling, and ventilation systems for passenger comfort.
    • Uphold vehicle interior in a neat condition during service operation.
    • Maintain manifest information confidentiality.
    • Cultivate a professional and positive environment.
  • Documentation
    • Log accurate records, including receiving and accounting for fares, radio communications.
    • Communicate irregularities to the Customer Care team using a two-way radio and prepare written reports.
Requirements
  • A valid CDL with a P Endorsement (or the ability to acquire one).
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Pass the Department of Transportation's physical examination.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
  • Ability to adhere to the requirements and standards of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • 1-2 years of related work experience preferred.
