Key Responsibilities- Develop and teach Homeland Security courses to students
- Develop and implement curriculum for Homeland Security programs
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure high-quality instruction and student success
- Stay current with industry developments and best practices in Homeland Security
- Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives to promote student learning and success
- Master's degree in Homeland Security or a related field
- 5 years of experience in Homeland Security, including experience in training and curriculum development
- Strong knowledge of Homeland Security principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ph.D. in Homeland Security or a related field
- Experience in leading and overseeing the development, delivery, and modification of training curriculum
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and practices
The Adjunct Instructor will work in a standard office environment and will be required to travel to various locations as needed. The Adjunct Instructor will be expected to work effectively in a team environment and to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
