We are seeking a highly motivated Optometry Student Intern to join our dynamic eye care team at Walmart. As an Optometry Student Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care and education on eye health, including contact lens care and disease state management.
- Consult with other health professionals to prepare patient care plans, adhering to optometry scope of practice per state board.
- Enrolled in an accredited Optometry school.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new equipment technology and advanced instrumentation.
- Previous experience in patient care is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, with weekend availability.
