Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the OB Acute department at Providence Hood River Memorial Hospital. As a RN in this role, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to OB Acute patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and according to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report patient status to the healthcare team, including vital signs, lab results, and other relevant information.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to improve patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year - Nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
