Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacist to join our team. As a Clinical Pharmacist - Cancer Care, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional patient care and support our mission to improve the lives of those battling cancer and rare diseases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medication Management: Evaluate physician medication orders for appropriateness, potential interactions, and route of administration. Make recommendations for therapy changes as needed.
  • Patient Database Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, laboratory data, and concurrent medications.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with healthcare teams to provide clinical and technical support, and document all communication with physicians, nurses, and patients.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, and maintain accurate documentation as required.
  • Quality Assurance: Identify and report medication-related errors, and assist in implementing policies and procedures for safe medication use.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy (PharmD preferred)
  • Experience: One year of experience in retail pharmacy (desired)
  • Licenses/Certifications: Current license in the state of practice (multi-state licenses a plus)
