Job Summary:

The Staff Nurse plays a critical role in providing comprehensive care to our patients, conducting thorough nursing assessments, administering routine care, and reviewing medication logs. This position requires a strong understanding of discipline-specific principles and practices, as well as adherence to Healthcare Code of Ethics and Joint Commission Standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nursing-related services for each client
  • Conduct thorough nursing assessments and deliver routine care
  • Review medication logs and assist in medical and psychiatric management
  • Facilitate medication education and integrate nursing considerations into treatment plans
  • Ensure meticulous documentation adhering to facility and State requirements
Requirements:
  • Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
  • Nursing Diploma or Degree from an accredited school
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as a Staff Nurse in a detox setting
  • Work experience in the field of behavioral or mental health treatment
