Located in the heart of TriStar Centennial Medical Center, we are a 740+ bed comprehensive facility providing medical and surgical programs including behavioral health and 24-hour emergency services.

Estimated Salary Range:

$104,000 - $144,000 per year

We offer a competitive salary to our Pediatric Float Pool Nurses, ensuring they receive fair compensation for their skills and experience. The estimated salary range takes into account the level of expertise required for this role, as well as the cost of living in the area.

About the JobJob Description

The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act. Utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice. Maintains a safe therapeutic environment. Identifies nursing problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. Registered Nurse plans individualized patient care while utilizing an interdisciplinary approach. Participates in performance improvement activities. Provides care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's condition.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.
  • Promote hospital customer service initiatives.
  • Utilize nursing process for individual care to meet needs of patients.
Required Qualifications

Current RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.

Current BLS.

Acute Pediatric or NICU RN Experience required.
