We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated General Medicine Physician to join our team at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine.

The successful candidate will be part of the Division of General Internal Medicine within the Department of Internal Medicine, where they will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating academic environment and contribute to the growth and innovation of our outpatient primary care practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive, coordinated, and evidence-based primary care to adults
  • Work in a thriving LGBTQ Clinic, a Weight Management Clinic, and a Post-COVID Clinic
  • Establish a full or part-time general internal medicine practice through a combination of faculty, same-day access, and resident-teaching clinics

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Outstanding skills in teaching, clinical medicine, decision making, communication, and collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a clinician educator
