Job Overview

The Audiovisual Equipment Specialist role involves intermediate-level setup and management of various audiovisual systems, ranging from small to large-scale installations. This position encompasses responsibilities such as audiovisual setup and teardown, equipment handling, quality assurance, and troubleshooting. Candidates should be adept at functioning in a highly service-oriented and professional atmosphere.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining precise inventory records of equipment associated with projects departing from and returning to the facility.
  • Assisting in the quality assurance of equipment to confirm it operates within specified parameters.
  • Facilitating accurate and timely setup, operation, and dismantling of intermediate audiovisual equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations and property guidelines necessary for the safe operation of all equipment and job-related resources, adhering to relevant federal and OSHA standards.

Qualifications:

  • Fundamental experience in operating entertainment audio and visual equipment through previous employment or education.
  • Demonstrated outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated, industrious, reliable, and conscientious.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in managing freelance teams and acting as a point of contact.
  • Familiarity with the latest technological advancements.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours based on business needs.
