UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Endocrinology Specialist to join our team. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a critical role in the treatment and care of patients assigned to the Endocrine department in the outpatient clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations, including psychological status.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care, including ordering and interpreting laboratory, radiology, and other diagnostic studies/results.
- Provide relevant management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients, families, and caregivers related to current care and preventive health measures.
- Collaborate in research projects and protocols, and apply evidence-based best practices to patient care.
- Master's degree or higher in nursing, with documentation of completion of an accredited Advanced Practice Education Program.
- Graduate of a Master's degree or higher Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) accredited Physician Assistant program.
- One year of pediatric inpatient consultation experience preferred.
- Pediatric endocrinology and diabetes education preferred.
