As a Visiting Fellow at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, you will embark on a research program focused on cyclic vomiting and related disorders in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition within the Department of Internal Medicine. Your responsibilities will include conducting research, developing new methods, analyzing data, and preparing research results for publication in professional journals. You will also assist in the design of new grant applications, collection of preliminary data, and organization and writing of grants.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need a doctoral degree in molecular, cellular and developmental biology or microbiology. Experience in molecular biology or immunology is preferred, as is the ability to translate, adapt and apply academic or practical knowledge in the conduct of biological/health science research. Prior research experience in autoimmune diseases is also desired. A background check and pre-employment physical, including a drug screen, may be required for selected candidates.
