Expeditor Role

The Expeditor is a vital member of our Crooked Hammock Brewery team, responsible for ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service and a memorable dining experience. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Present and assemble dishes according to our high standards and guest orders
  • Maintain expert knowledge of our menu and be able to answer any questions guests may have about ingredients
  • Restock plates and silverware as needed to maintain a clean and efficient dining area
  • Provide exceptional communication and hospitality to guests and staff alike
  • Work closely with service staff and kitchen staff to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor table pace and ensure servers are not rushing or lagging behind
  • Remain calm under pressure and be the anchor of the restaurant
  • Motivate team members to work efficiently and effectively
  • Deliver orders in a timely manner, with specific targets for soups, salads, appetizers, skewers, sandwiches, and entrees

Requirements
  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with managers, kitchen staff, and dining room personnel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
