We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at University Hospitals. As a key member of our Radiation Oncology department, you will be responsible for designing and implementing radiation treatment plans for patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop radiation treatment plans using advanced software and technology
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists and physicists to ensure accurate and effective treatment delivery
  • Participate in the development of departmental policies and procedures
  • Provide training and education to staff members on radiation therapy techniques and best practices
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation oncology and medical dosimetry
Requirements
  • Graduate of a hospital or university-affiliated formal dosimetry program
  • Experience with treatment planning systems, such as Pinnacle and Mosaiq
  • Knowledge of linear accelerators, simulators, and CT scanners
  • Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) certification from the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB)
  • Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) certification with on-the-job training for treatment planning
