Full-Time Occupational Therapist Wanted in Salem, MA

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12, enhancing their academic and motor skills.

Job Summary:

  • Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
  • Manage a caseload of 54 students, including 40 in grades K-4 and 14 in grades 5-12.
  • Collaborate with teachers and educational staff to develop individualized therapy plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide direct therapy services to students in grades K-12, utilizing evidence-based practices and adapting to individual needs.
  2. Conduct consultations with parents, teachers, and other relevant professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  3. Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, incorporating goals and objectives tailored to each student's unique requirements.
  4. Maintain up-to-date records of therapy sessions, including notes, progress reports, and assessment results.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with students, families, and educators.
  • Ability to work effectively in a school setting, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Previous experience working with children is highly desirable, but not essential.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • Full-time position, approximately 40-45 hours per week.
  • Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • A competitive salary of $75,000-$85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
