The Radiology Technologist I role at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is a dynamic opportunity for professionals who enjoy working with energetic and enthusiastic individuals.

Estimated Salary: $56,000 - $72,000 per year

Job Description

This position involves performing routine diagnostic radiographs and minor interventional procedures under the supervision of a radiologist or licensed fluoroscopic supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing diagnostic radiographs to support patient care
  • Conducting minor interventional procedures as required
  • Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with healthcare teams

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • 0-2 years work experience in a related field
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
