About the Role

Jobot is seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in the Finance industry. This is a permanent role that offers a fantastic opportunity to leverage your professional experience and skills in a challenging and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

* Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and changes to pay rates.
* Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports or snapshots, including weekly cash flow forecasts.
* Assist with the preparation of monthly/annual financial statements and coordinate the annual audit process.
* Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
* Provide payroll tax support and manage the payroll process.
* Assist in the development of budgets and financial projections.
* Collaborate with other departments to support overall department goals and objectives.

Requirements

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
* At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* 3-5 years of experience with QuickBooks.
* Previous experience in a CPA firm is highly desirable.
* Proven experience in bookkeeping and payroll services.
* Knowledge of payroll tax and ability to manage the payroll process.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
