Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Employ-Temps Staffing Services. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that parts being produced in the manufacturing areas meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual inspections of last shot cast and last shot trimmed parts to ensure they meet quality specifications.
- Check production parts for defects and document inspection results on logs and quality instructions.
- Use gauges and equipment provided to inspect parts and report any conditions that do not meet customer or company quality standards.
- Review rejected production and problem-solve to identify the root cause of issues.
- Communicate with operators and degators regarding quality concerns and record pertinent information on inspection reports.
- Handle non-conforming material according to procedure manual guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Combination of education, training, and relevant experience in quality control.
- Basic math skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Strong problem-solving skills and computer skills (Microsoft Office).
