  • Ingredient Preparation: Prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
  • Utensil Utilization: Safely utilize a variety of utensils, including knives.
  • Food Presentation: Arrange, garnish, and portion food according to established guidelines.
  • Food Storage: Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Customer Service: Maintain excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Knowledge of various food prep methods, proper knife handling, and food safety regulations, such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage.
  • Certification: Must be able to obtain required food safety certification.
  • Math and Counting Skills: Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Physical Demands

This role may have physical demands, including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
