Medical Unit Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Unit team at OhioHealth. As a RN with our organization, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role
  • Provides general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care in diverse, acute health care settings.
  • Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care provided to assigned patients.
  • Delegates nursing tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) using the criteria written in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
  • Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to assigned patients.
Responsibilities
  • Provides professional nursing care services to patients.
  • Assesses patients' physical and emotional needs, develops and implements individualized care plans.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
  • Monitors patients' responses to treatment, makes adjustments as needed.
Requirements
  • BLS - Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
  • RN - Registered Nurse - Ohio Board of Nursing
