About the Role

The Glens Falls Hospital is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to individuals with mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use/abuse diagnoses.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing delegated services to patients under the supervision of licensed nursing staff.
  • Support the clinical treatment team in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patients.
  • Perform routine patient care tasks, including vital sign monitoring and specimen collections.

Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in behavioral health care field preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in human services field strongly preferred.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
