We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at the Golden Gate Regional Center. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

About the Job:

The Human Resources Generalist will play a critical role in supporting the HR department across key areas, including employee relations, recruitment and onboarding, performance management, workers' compensation, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). As a generalist, you will be responsible for assisting with performance reviews, employee complaint investigations, advising on disciplinary actions, and supporting recruitment and onboarding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the talent acquisition specialist with the full recruitment cycle, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and candidate selection.
  • Serve as a backup for coordinating and conducting new hire orientations to promote a positive organizational culture.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of new hire paperwork.
  • Review personnel action forms (PAFs) and recommend compensation for new hires and promotions to the director of HR and organizational services.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or other related fields, along with 3-5 years of human resources experience, preferably in a generalist role. You should possess solid understanding of HR functions and best practices, including knowledge of employment laws and workers' compensation processes.

Salary Range:

The estimated salary range for this position is $63,011 - $75,613 per year, depending on experience.
