Job Summary
Holy Name Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of ultrasound procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular scans, to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of patient care and safety.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technologies and techniques.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a positive and respectful experience for all patients.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ARDMS registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer required.
- RVT registration as a Vascular Technologist preferred.
- Less than 1 year of working clinical experience as an ultrasonographer preferred.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position, requiring a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department. The successful candidate will be required to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, ensuring quality service is provided to clients and physicians.
