Beauty Therapist

Arch Amenities Group, a leading spa, fitness and leisure firm, is seeking a skilled Beauty Therapist to join their team at Spa La Vie inside Paragon Casino Resort. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional beauty services, including hair cutting, coloring, and styling, as well as scalp massages and treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality beauty services to guests, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Assess guest contraindications and take necessary precautions to prevent service disruptions.
• Cut, trim, and shape hair or hairpieces based on customer instructions and preferences.
• Analyze patrons' hair and physical features to recommend beauty treatments and suggest hairstyles.
• Bleach, dye, or tint hair using applicators or brushes.
• Shampoo, rinse, condition, and dry hair and scalp or hairpieces with water, liquid soap, or other solutions.
• Perform all treatments on services' menu based on current certifications.
• Suggest additional beneficial treatments to guests and explain product ingredients and benefits.
• Ensure timely completion of treatments and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Work assigned schedule and attend scheduled meetings and professional trainings.
• Clean and disinfect equipment daily and complete assigned side work.

Requirements:

• Valid state license in cosmetology.
• Preferred training or certification from a hair styling or cosmetology school.
• Customer service experience, preferably in a spa environment.
• Previous hair styling experience is a plus.
• Ability to explain various treatments and services to guests.
• Excellent customer service skills and a strong work ethic.
• Efficient, well-organized, and able to handle multiple duties simultaneously.
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational.
• Professional manner, discretion, and appearance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Awareness of proper body mechanics to prevent injury.
