At Taylor Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate ED Registered Nurse to join our team. As an Emergency Department RN, you will provide high-quality patient-centered care by coordinating patient care and working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients and develop individualized plans of care
- Follow the five medication rights to ensure safe and effective medication administration
- Perform patient care tasks, including administering medications, performing EKGs, and utilizing Combative Patient De-escalation tools
- Respond to crises and use de-escalation, restraints, and patient seclusion as necessary
- Document nursing process and communicate effectively with physicians
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) or ATCN Certification preferred
- Current PA RN License
- ACLS and PALS preferred
- 6 months professional nursing experience
- Current ED (Emergency Department) or 1 year Med Surg/Tele experience or 2 years recent acute care experience as a Paramedic required
