Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Extruder Operator to join our team at Owens Corning. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining our foam extruder equipment, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain foam extruder equipment, including feed systems, extrusion HMI systems, and slinky/conveyor/tunnel equipment.
  • Perform quality control operations, including board sampling, testing, and data entry.
  • Unload resin from silos and verify hookup diagrams and manifold configurations.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth production processes and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous extrusion experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to follow through on tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite programs and SAP computer maintenance management system.
