About the Job

We are looking for a Recreation Assistant to join our team This is a part-time position that involves assisting in the delivery of recreation programs for people of all ages. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors.

As a Recreation Assistant, you will assist with teaching classes, setting up equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for participants. You will also be responsible for communicating with participants, parents, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist with teaching and leading recreation classes and activities.
  • Set up and break down equipment and facilities for recreation programs.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for participants.
  • Communicate with participants, parents, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements
  • Be at least 14 years old.
  • Have a current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
  • Pass a criminal background check.
