Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Nurse to join our team at Holston Medical Group. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for coordinating total outpatient care for patients and providing leadership to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care for outpatient procedures, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication with healthcare teams.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based practices.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing coaching and feedback to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Tennessee.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in circulating or perioperative nursing.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of endoscopic and operative nursing principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions and prioritize tasks effectively.
