Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Wine and Spirits Cashier to join our team. As a Wine and Spirits Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring that all department standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on wine and spirits products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the wine and spirits department and surrounding areas.
  • Ensure that all department standards are met, including inventory levels, pricing, and product placement.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, managers, and colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Assist guests with finding items on the sales floor and provide information on products and promotions.
  • Maintain awareness of all promotions and advertisements, and communicate them to guests.
  • Address guest concerns and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements
  • High school education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to sample products sold in the wine and spirits department.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
