About the Role:

We are seeking a Part Time Float Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for dispensing medical prescriptions, performing necessary clerical duties, and working under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
  • Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
  • Orders, receives, and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
  • Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records
  • Works with the Pharmacist to ensure compliance with all federal and state requirements
  • Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
  • Communicates with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Virginia
  • Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license
  • Ability to work between the Winchester and Front Royal sites
  • Ability to use own car to get to each location

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
  • Basic competency with Excel and Teams

Sign-On Bonus: A $3,000 sign-on bonus is available for external candidates.
