Position Summary

The City of Tolleson is in search of capable individuals to fill the role of Human Services Technician. This position involves:

  • Transporting clients to and from their residences to the Senior Center and medical appointments.
  • Delivering meals to program participants.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of the vehicle.
  • Assisting with routine vehicle maintenance and reporting any issues.
  • Keeping accurate records of program participants during trips and meal deliveries.
  • Adhering to traffic regulations while ensuring safe and courteous vehicle operation.
  • Coordinating pick-up and drop-off schedules for seniors attending various programs.
  • Performing related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED, along with two years of progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is required. Additionally, candidates must hold:

  • An Arizona Driver's License
  • A Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • A CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • Central Registry clearance

Additional Information

This is a part-time, temporary position. Please note that this role is not eligible for benefits.

Compensation: The hourly wage ranges from $19.32 to $24.00, depending on experience.
