Job Summary

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will provide physician-ordered physical therapy services, including documentation, assessment, planning, developing, and implementing an individualized patient therapy plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physician-ordered physical therapy services as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Observe, record, and report patient short-term and long-term goals in terms of functional outcomes as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Monitor changes needed to increase patient independence as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Instruct patients and caregivers in therapeutic exercise to improve functional status as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Provide instruction in the use of various assistive devices as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Treat patient physical deficits using clinically accepted therapeutic exercises as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Attend scheduled interdisciplinary staff meetings and actively participate in treatment planning as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
Requirements:
  • Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy school with current Ohio licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
  • Ability to travel required.
  • Possession of a valid Ohio motor vehicle operator's license.
  • Pre-employment physical examination and an annual health assessment as required by Ohio State Health Department.
  • Current CPR certification.
