We are in search of a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist to become a vital part of our expanding and dynamic Group Reporting & Financial Reporting team. This role involves assisting in the review and issuance of external unaudited and audited standalone financial statements, along with the submission of financial data for corporate group reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and issuance of financial reports, including annual audited and monthly/quarterly unaudited financial statements in accordance with US GAAP for external stakeholders, as well as supporting internal segment group reporting deliverables under IFRS.
  • Draft footnotes for the annual audited financial statements.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and presentation of financial statements for debt and equity instruments, as well as commodity and financial derivatives.
  • Facilitate audit support and manage inquiries from external auditors related to financial statement audits and group reporting package reviews.
  • Assist local and group accounting teams with ad-hoc internal and external requests concerning financial information and business/Merger & Acquisitions support.
  • Support the implementation of new US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards, staying informed on changes in regulations, and proactively enhancing accounting practices and financial reporting processes for improved accuracy and efficiency.
  • Foster a high-quality, deliverable-focused culture within the team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance or Accounting.
  • A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Experience in a large corporate environment is preferred.
  • Proficient in preparing annual audited financial statements with footnotes.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated capacity to empathize, build relationships, and communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Experience in wind energy project development, power industry, and/or real estate partnerships is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is beneficial.
  • Experience in tax equity is a plus.
