Job Summary:
Join Cynet Health as a Critical Care Nurse - Pulmonary PCU and work in a 32-bed cardio-pulmonary unit with 15 PCU beds and 17 MedSurg beds focusing on cardiac and pulmonary care. Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience and be able to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a patient population that includes cardiac medical, valve replacements, COPD, CHF, pulmonary fibrosis, lung cancer, lung transplants, trach-to-vent requirements, neurodegenerative diseases, trauma requiring trach-to-vent, flu, TB, and COVID-19.
- Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:4 for PCU and 1:5-6 for MedSurg.
- Ability to work every other weekend; consecutive weekends may be required based on operational needs.
- Participate in a 12-hour orientation session.
- Complete non-billable modules, averaging 6-12 hours to complete, before the start date via the online learning system.
Requirements:
- 18 months of relevant experience.
- Ability to float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby.
- COVID vaccine required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons with provided documentation.
- Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only.
