Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Park Ambassador to provide exceptional customer service to park visitors at Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sharing information about the park's amenities, activities, and attractions, ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and assist visitors, providing information about the park's facilities, events, and activities.
  • Address inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist with the sale of park passes, permits, and merchandise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized visitor center, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors.
  • Support visitors with special needs or requests, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with park staff to ensure visitor satisfaction and provide feedback on park operations.

Work Environment
This role is based at the Visitor Center in Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge. The position may require standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with the local area and state park system is advantageous.
