About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team on weekends. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate care for patients, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assess and reassess patients, developing individualized plans of care and administering medications as needed.
  • Document patient information, educate patients and families, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Communicate patient needs effectively, promoting customer service initiatives and maximizing patient satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience preferred.
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
  • Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire.

We offer a full array of acute care services, including cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics/spine, rehabilitation, and women's services.
