Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Assistant Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience as a medical assistant, with a focus on complex care management. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Manage Teams
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of medical assistants, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet patient needs.
    • Mentor and train new staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties.
  • Patient Care
    • Provide high-quality patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure that patient needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Clinical Operations
    • Assist with clinical operations, including scheduling appointments, managing supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
    • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience
  • At least five years of experience as a medical assistant, with a focus on complex care management
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification or equivalent
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines

Working Conditions

This position requires frequent walking, standing, and sitting. You may be required to lift heavy objects or push/pull equipment. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
