About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for a Board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to take on a leadership role in our clinic. You will work closely with medical assistants to provide high-quality care, utilizing your full scope of practice. With a focus on rural communities, you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of those who need it most. Our clinic operates 362 days a year, offering extended hours and a flexible schedule that includes every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat common illnesses, such as colds, flu, and strep throat
- Perform minor procedures, including toenail removal and foreign object removal
- Provide suturing and splinting services
- Conduct general orthopedic evaluations and management
- Review x-rays and interpret EKG results
- Offer general dermatology and eye care
- Treat children of all ages, including infants, kids, and teenagers
- Provide occupational medicine services
- Participate in telemedicine consultations
Requirements:
- MSN or higher degree required
- DOT certification preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive salary: $140,000 - $160,000 per year, based on experience
