FirstLight Federal Credit Union is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Grant Writer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and analyzing funding opportunities, developing and securing funding for various community-focused initiatives and projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Research and analyze funding opportunities to identify potential sources of funding
- Develop and prepare compelling grant proposals to secure funding for community-focused initiatives and projects
- Oversee and fulfill grant reporting requirements and monitor/track activities
- Collaborate with the Community Engagement Manager to develop and implement grant writing strategies
- Associates degree or 3 years' experience in grant writing in lieu of associate degree
- One year of experience with grant writing, administration, and implementation of grants, preferably within financial services or non-profit sector
