Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional care to patients with Hematology and Oncology conditions, ensuring compliance with the latest medical knowledge and best practices.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of patient care, meeting all necessary documentation and coding requirements.
- Comply with CAMC Human Resources and Office of Corporate Compliance policies, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
- Collaborate with the medical staff and corporate management to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, staff, and colleagues, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
Patient Group Knowledge: The successful candidate must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide developmentally appropriate assessment, treatment, or care for patients with Hematology and Oncology conditions.
Specifically, the candidate must be able to demonstrate competency in:
- Obtaining and interpreting patient information.
- Understanding growth and development.
- Providing a range of treatment options for patients.
Competency Statement: The candidate must demonstrate competency through an initial orientation and ongoing validation to independently perform tasks and additional duties specified in the job description and unit/department competency checklist.

- Medical Degree (Required)
MD or DO (or an international medical graduate degree equivalent qualifying for entry to a US Graduate Medical Education program and ABMS/AOA Certification eligibility).
