Role Overview

We're seeking an experienced Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Sedalia, MO. As a key member of our staff, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients with infectious diseases.

About the Position

This is a full-time role with a competitive salary commensurate with experience, ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually. You'll be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with infectious diseases, particularly HIV, in a compassionate and thorough manner.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat patients with infectious diseases, including HIV, in a timely and effective manner
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's unique needs
  • Work closely with patients to educate them on disease management and prevention strategies
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in infectious disease treatment
Requirements
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri
  • Possession of a Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university, including educational preparation as a nurse practitioner with certification through ANCC, NAACOG, or NAPNAP
  • AAHIVS HIV Specialist Certification and APIC Certificate are highly valued
  • Current BLS certification
