Carpenter - Junior

Fibertek is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our C5ISR Facilities team at Fort Belvoir, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing rough, finish, repair, and general maintenance carpentry tasks, as well as other facilities support duties.

• Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
• Read blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine material requirements and dimensions.
• Remove and replace sections of structures as needed, and clean work sites and tools after completion.
• Frame walls, install insulation, ceiling tiles, drywall, subflooring, flooring, windows, doors, doorframes, interior and exterior trim, and finish hardware.
• Erect scaffolding or set up ladders to perform tasks above ground level.
• Assist other facilities maintenance team members and trades in projects as required.

• High school diploma or equivalent, with applicable training.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
• Schedule is Monday to Friday.
